Welcome to the Mucky Madra Dog Grooming website. My name is Michelle Owens and I am your groomer at Mucky Madra. I am a qualified City and Guilds Level 3 Professional Dog Stylist.
That's my dog in the picture with me and my reason for becoming a dog groomer. Like all of us my dog is not just a pet, not just a dog, he's a part of our family and as part of our family I make sure I do the very best I can for him when choosing a vet, choosing kennels for when we're away and making sure his diet is the best I can give to make sure he stays in top condition.
When you bring your dog to me at Mucky Madra Dog Grooming, your dog receives the same care and attention that I give to my own dog, because like me, I know you also want the best for your four legged family member.
I have been grooming for ten plus years and am a member of the Irish Professional Dog Groomers Association (IPDGA). Being a member of the IPDGA is not just a piece of paper on the wall. Being a member of IPDGA means I am lucky enough to get to attend seminars throughout the year hosted by some of the top groomers in Ireland and the world. These seminars keep me up to date in the latest practices, trends and products that I can bring to my everyday work to further improve your dogs experience when he/she comes for a groom.
I am also a certified Canine First Responder (first aid for dogs), this is a certification I refresh every two years to keep my skills up to date.
